Doris Weinberger works as an interdisciplinary and collaborative artist at the intersection of
various media formats, including installation, interaction and performance in (semi-) public spaces.
Her main focus is on the deconstruction and redesign of representation and projection mechanisms in
the production of hegemonic imagery and (linguistic) structures in the (partially) private and
(semi-)public spheres. Doris Weinberger is a founding member of the artists‘ collectives mark and
ANTZ! and the transdisciplinary platform RAUMFINDER. She teaches performative methods and participatory
strategies, gives lectures, and advises organisations.
Exhibitions/performances/interactions in Austria, Canada, Czechia, Egypt, Germany, Hungary, Japan,
Pakistan, USA.
